At the seaside

I visited Siikaranta in Meri-Pori Finland. It was a great day to test my D800 in fresh snowy landscapes.

I found out that the viewfinder really has to be closed in long exposure work. Because if I accidentally left the viewfinder open, the image had no contrast and there was a bright white stripe going through the image lower part. Too bad that I only saw this when I came back from the trip.

  1. Yep, the D800 requires the viewfinder to be closed or else there is serious light leak. Lovely pictures!
